School development off Pinewood Gardens ~ decision delayed
Surrey Heath Borough Council delayed their planning decision regarding the proposed Autistic School on Monday 19th November off Pinewood Gardens in Bagshot to allow Councillors and Surrey County Highways to review vehicular access to the site.
The Planning Committee was attended by many interested residents in Bagshot including Valerie White, Kieron Evans and Alistair Graham.
Residents are concerned the Builder’s estimate of 400+ daily movements to the school will be more like 600+. The only access to the site is via College Ride which is (at best) only a one way road. Residents are concerned about road safety and also the lack of provision in the plans for parking. Residents worry the employees of the School and the proposed offices will use College Ride (which is full of resident parking) and the Pavilion car park which will impinge on the Pavilion Users
Local conservatives Valerie White , Alistair Graham, Caroline Reid and Kieron Evans continue to campaign to the Borough Council for the development to be refused.
The school development will be discussed at the next Planning Meeting at SHBC on Monday 17 December at 7pm.

As you have stated your views in advance doesn’t this mean that you will not be able to vote on the issue at the council meeting?
